“In July 2011 I started Hope UK basic training in Watford and went into it thinking I knew plenty about drugs and lots about communication (I am a GP with experience of working in substance misuse and alcohol teams and some of experience of teaching in church).

I soon found that there were huge amoungs to learn about ‘drug facts’, teaching skills and learning styles.  The training has been so valuable in learning many new skills and the local team training with me have been great to work with.

I was very impressed by the training we received from Hope UK.  We learnt by example the importance of thorough preparation, organisation and clear communication. 

I am now raring to go with more sessions and to explore local opportunities for Hope UK.  I am thankful for all the people that are supporting Hope UK in so many different ways.”
