Even if an adult has no connection to a young person, there is still merit in providing a drug awareness session. All Christians have the opportunity to pray for people they know or organisations working in the alcohol and drugs field. Please download Hope UK’s Prayer Diary.
A Hope UK Educator could be invited to provide a drug awareness session tailored to the interests of the adults concerned. Alternatively, the Bible study option of the self-preparation Drug Awareness session could be used.

thirst for life is an alcohol awareness campaign which invites participants to offer an alcohol-free example for 40 days or, perhaps, test out whether it is possible for them to easily stop drinking for a short period. Previous participants have made these comments:
Adults interested in drug education and prevention activities could consider becoming a Hope UK Voluntary Drug Educator. This training is also available for individuals to use as part of their jobs (for example, as a youth worker) where they would become Associate Drug Educators.
