Hope UK Drug Educators have provided drug and prevention education to professionals and volunteers working with children and young people in many different contexts. This includes teachers, social workers, youth hostel and children’s homes workers, Street Pastors and Street Angels, community groups, churches and the staff and volunteers of homelessness charities.
Harmful drug and/or alcohol use are often implicated in poverty, domestic violence, unwanted pregnancies, homelessness and street crime. Hope UK’s staff and voluntary Drug Educators are able to help equip people involved in dealing with these issues to engage with one of the underlying causes.
