It’s an awkward conversation isn’t it? Talking to your children about drugs! Here’s the issue though… 50% of young people wouldn’t initiate a conversation with their parents about drugs. Clearly then, we can’t bury our heads in the sand, we need to take the initiative. But, where to start?
Let’s Talk About Drugs is an evening, hosted by Hope UK (the Christian Drug Education Charity), intended to equip parents, with children of all ages (it’s really important to start the conversation early), to know how to;
- Identify drug-using behaviour in your children
- Speak to your children about drugs (or anything else for that matter; the skills are transferrable).
- Equip them to make drug-free choices.
The evening will include interactive activities, led by experts, and resources to take away with you.
