Hope UK has put together two quizzes and all necessary resources for your church to use as you wish. They have been designed for virtual use, although they would also work in a real, face to face meeting (one day!). We invite you to use them for fellowship (and if you feel kind, to raise funds for Hope UK). You can pick any day in January to do the quiz, however we understand that you may have a busy calendar and it may not be possible to host the event in January, so feel free to pick a convenient time for your church.

The Quiz for Hope is designed to be hosted virtually using one of the video meeting platforms available such as Zoom, Google Hangouts or Houseparty. 

In the first instance, complete the online registration form to download the Quiz Information Pack. This pack contains links to access the quizzes online plus a useful Quizmaster’s script and information on hosting your quiz.

The next step will be to set a date for the quiz then let everyone know – the more the merrier! People can play individually or as part of a team, whatever works best for your particular situation.

We’ve put together two different quizzes each with different questions so you can choose which one you would prefer to do – or do them both! It’s entirely your choice. Each quiz has five themed rounds each with 10 questions. The themes are as follows:

Quiz A:

• Emoji movies
• Pets
• Drugs
• Bible Verses
• General Knowledge

Quiz B:

• Ditloids
• Influential Black Women
• Drugs
• General Knowledge
• Easter Bible Knowledge

In addition, there are tiebreaker questions in the event of a tie.

In order to host a virtual quiz you will need to be familiar with your chosen video meeting app. The quizzes are played online so you don’t need to download big files or have any special software installed on your computer. As long as you have an internet connection, you’re good to go!
