Together we can make a difference
- 36 children a day are admitted to hospital for alcohol-related conditions (Alcohol Concern)
- NHS figures show a 64% surge in the number of children being treated for cocaine addiction (National Treatment Agency)
Hope UK works with communities throughout the UK to prevent drug and alcohol-related harm to children and young people.
Drug awareness sessions are available for children, young people and their parents.
Training is provided for children’s, youth, family and church workers, delivering information and practical strategies for use in their work.
Hope UK’s hallmark is participation and flexibility – shaping sessions for the needs of the receiving group. Young people are encouraged to think through issues for themselves. Whatever your background, if you are responsible for children and young people, then Hope UK’s Drug Educators will help you make a difference.
Our voluntary Drug Educators reach thousands of children and young people each year – you can help us train more.
