Together we can make a difference
“All young people need high quality drug and alcohol education so they have a thorough knowledge of their effects and harms and have the skills and confidence to choose not to use drugs and alcohol.” (Government Drugs Strategy)
Hope UK works with communities throughout the UK to prevent drug and alcohol-related harm to children and young people.
Interactive drug education sessions are provided for children, young people and their parents. Sessions for children and young people include life skills as well as age-appropriate drug and alcohol information. Hope UK Drug Educators work in schools, hostels, pupil referral units and in youth clubs, providing universal drug education.
Training is provided for children’s, youth, family and church workers, delivering information and practical strategies for use in their work.
Our voluntary Drug Educators reach thousands of children and young people each year – you can help us train more.
